About The Founder

Danielle Splatt is the founder of CrankOutDesigns. Since graduating with a B.A.Sc. in mechanical engineering with a minor in software, she has worked in several industries as a designer and project manager. During her career, Danielle noticed that engineers were spending the vast majority of their time doing last-minute designing for projects that had to be out the door in five minutes. There had to be a better way - a way to save time for more important engineering - to let the engineers become proactive designers rather than reactive firefighters. A way to stop constantly re-inventing the wheel. A way to save time and money.

She realized that it all comes down to design automation. If you can automate as much as possible, then you will save engineering man-hours for the things that matter most: working on new innovations and designing new products.
